VIP Status Wheels

Im looking into getting the VIP status Furious wheels in 19''. Called the shop today and the guy suggested to go with 18's saying they'll be a perfect fit...regardless i think 18's will be a lil too small?

He told me that these wheels have an aggressive appeal as in they will stick out of the fenders and suggested that i could either roll the fenders or leave it...also he was suggesting that i don't go with the staggered setup, something to do with compromising my handling since the back will be gripping more.

19x8.5 40 offset
19x9.5 45 offset

these are the two different sizes he gave me....anyone have any opinions...heres a picture of the wheels....also if anyone has a similar setup...can you show me some pics and let me know how you feel....

Do it man-get the wheels. They'll look good on your black TL. I can't give you good input on sizing-trust your gut and your first instict.

Those wheels don't have the VIP appeal in my opinion...

You should have no issues, those offsets are not aggressive at all.

Dude dont pay attention to these wanna b credit card/credit ballers. The wheels look hot u dont always have to drop a shit load of money on wheels, all u need is the rite looking wheel/suspension set up. I think if u get a low enough drop they should look sick......... My boy ryan got the same exact wheels on his nbp tl he paid $700 on ebay with 35 ofset and they do not stick out. Hes riding on tein springs 1.2 inch drop i would suggest to go a bit lower as he is gonna do aswell. tThey staggered rims look better on acar with an aggressive drop.

Go for it man!~
I'm getting VIP Status Ferocious =D
No money at the moment though =[

So people do not get confused "VIP STATUS" is the name of the company. Some of their wheels do not convey "VIP" but some do look nice.
Fun fact:
VIP STATUS wheels is a Canadian company.

I've seen their rims in person.
Vicious and Ferocious look the best, imo.
Sadly "Vicious" runs a 5x120 and 5x112 I think.

staggered means when the rear wheels are wider than the fronts typically done to rear wheel drive cars to achieve more traction. its done to front wheel drive cars but it serves no purpose its purely for looks.

rolling fenders means when you literally roll the inside of the fender as to not let the tires or rims rub the inside of fender. this usually happens when people buy rims that are to wide for the car or has a really low offset. ive had this done to my cl.

IMO, in the end, it's around the same amount of money lost with more expensive rims or cheap rims. More high end rims retain value A LOT better than other shabbier rims, but there's always a market for used high end items as opposed to used low end rims. My .

it all loses value as long as it looks good who cares? but if you want to go vip you have to go big or go home so get some staggered 20" and slam it to the ground
