Users with Neuspeed SuperCupKit are needed for answers...

hey hey,

omg i feel like a annoying 8 year old asking the same questions over n over but i just want to understand as much a i can before i make the purchase.

After much reviewing and searching it seems that these Neuspeed super cup kit is one of the best values for price/performance.

but i just had a few questions.

1. The kit says the springs are rated for a 1.75F 1.5R drop.
but iv read some people say you can pick a lower setting and set it LOWER like 2.00F ??R
how is that possible?

2. How is the ride, some people are saying its a VERY STIFF ride with this kit? i dont mind a stiffer ride, its expected, but i dont want it to feel like i need a pillow on my seat just to drive around

3. Would this be an option? because i am looking for a bit more than 1.75" drop (2.00 would be more than enough) I want the car to sit JUST above the wheel with very little to no gap. could i get this neuspeed super cup kit and get the Neuspeed RACING springs (which i think offer a 2.00-2.25" drop) with the Koni SP3 shocks (which i THINK have an adjustment for SOFTNESS)

because if i could do that ... and keep it around the price of the cup kit (600.00 USD) i would love it

thanks in advance for help/opinions/suggestions

1. The shocks allow some height adjustment, that's how you lower/raise the ride height on the same set of springs.

2. Neuspeed RACE will be quite stiff. Neuspeed SPORT actually has pretty comfortable ride quality.

3. If you go to neuspeed.com, you'll see that Supercup kit actually comes with RACE springs but they can substitute them with SPORT if you specify when you place your order.

so would this be a possibility? get the neuspeed cup kit SPORT and then say get the TEIN S Tech springs that are 2.00" drop over stock (i think) and install them with the Koni SP3 shocks and that would be ok???

Tein s.tech springs are very, very soft. If you're looking for comfort I'd say get the teins. I had them before I got the neuspeed supercup kit.

I have Neuspeed race and all I can say is that they are probably the stiffest and most uncomfortable out there for our cars, but the handling is insane.

If I were you, I'd just get the Neuspeed Supercup kit with Neuspeed Sport springs and lower the spring seats for additional 0.25" or 0.5". You don't have to buy other springs and sell the Neuspeed springs that come with the kit.

are the Koni SP3 different in the SPORT kit and the RACING kit, or is it just the springs?

because i can get a decent deal on the Tein S tech springs and this neuspeed cup kit seems to be the best route to get a shocks n springs all in one (price to performance)

and maybe then i can sell off the neuspeed springs and make some money back..

so am i correct on the TEIN S tech springs they drop the car down 2.00"+??

sorry didnt see this post before i wrote my last one.

but i think your saying...

get the Neuspeed supercup kit (springs and shocks) and i can lower the springs seats ON THE SHOCKS the additional .25 or .5

so i guess then this kit with sport springs COULD drop down to 2.00" then!! if thats correct then im definitely going for it

Thanks. It was my car, I sold it back in Jan 08. In that pic the car had Eibach Prokit and Koni Sport with lowered front spring seats. The wheels are Volk Racing GT-V 19x8.5.
