USED Bridgestone Blizzaks
hey guys, am looking to buy a used set of blizzaks mounted on
a set of 07-08 TL base rims.
anyways, i haven't gone to check them out personally but the seller
sent me an email with a pic of the tread on the tires... i cant tell too much from the pic but can any of you 'guesstimate' the tread percentage?
thanks

here's the ad: (he does claim that they have 80%+ tread but yah, i'll have to go check them out.)
OEM 4-2007 TL rims with TPMS, Bridgestone Blizzaks LM-25 snow tire 235/45R/17" 94 H, tire used one season only. One rim has minor curbage, fit 2004-2008 TL or others. I traded my TL in and have no use of it.

You need to inspect them in person and take a tire depth gauge with you. Again, hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like that tire has uneven wear (right side more worn than left side).
If you can't inspect them in person, ask him to send a clsoe up photo with a penny or depth gauge stuck in the tread. Here's a good link from tirerack.com on determining depth minimums using coins. Read all the way to the end for winter tire depth recommendations (i.e. minimum of 6/32"):

Just a little FYI...they look to me like they're cupped.
