Hey guys I've been searching the site and haven't found much on this topic and I need guidance. I just bought tien ss coilovers and I'm curious what shock mounts you guys use because I'm trying to figure out if there is an alternative to the OEM mounts.

The OEM top hats are more than adequate. I've never seen anyone use anything else which either tells me the OEM's are best or no alternatives exist.

Okay cool thanks guys, yeah I figured there might not be an alternative but I know tien has their own packages pillow mounts but don't sell them separately thanks for the help!

I use stock base TL top hats on mine. Another option was using type S top hats which are supposedly stiffer but the difference is probably relatively small. e.g. not worth buying new top hats.

Oh I didn't know the type s mounts fit I was just planning on using the base mounts with type s bushings

Marcus at Heeltoe sells both all of the above, hats and bushings. I was just looking at putting together a Tein SS package.
