Unbalanced tires?
I recently had my B service done and got my tires rotated, but not balanced. The advisor had informed me that their machine couldn't perform the balance on my wheels because they were aftermarket. Since I had bought them already balanced, I figured it wouldn't be a problem when they've been rotated. It drove fine until I had gotten to highway speeds (70+ MPH). My steering wheel would vibrate really badly. My alignment is fine though. Could this be the result of unbalanced tires or just different tire pressure since I didn't check that after leaving?

Get them balanced! that sounds exactly like un-balanced tires. Usually you notice this at high speeds just like you mentioned. I would do that and see if it works - my guess 99% its the balancing...Most Tire-shops do this for free when you rotate or buy tires - So typical of an Acura dealer to say that. They all suck big time with service.

its just bs that they couldn't balance it due to after market wheels. It needs to balanced, just make sure that you get it balanced using a hunter roadforce pro machine.

I'm taking mine to Tires Plus today where they do have a Hunter Roadforce machine.
