typeS wheels

I noticed that typeS wheels are very popular and have a high demand for them. Should i get typeS wheels for my tl-p or save up from aftermarket ones?

I vote aftermarket. I don't know about anyone else...but other than performance issues, the only reason why I'd get new rims in the first place is to be different.

i agree aftermarket rims and tires,,,,you can proly get a set cheaper then what it would cost for two brand new type s rims.

If you are going to spend your money you might as well be different and get custom wheels!

I happen to like the look of the TL-S wheels and wish they were an option with purchase of the TL-P. In fact, it would be nice if ACP sold them. The '02 TL-P wheels I have are nice, but the TL-S wheels look better.

i got tls wheels on my 00 tl...love them ..i got them because i cant lower my car yet(driveway sucks). and IMO my car with a OEM kit and stock hight with 16" stockers look wacked unless you lower it. and since i cant lower it..i got the type-s wheels to fill in the gap a little and its alot nicer. i had CLS wheels and got them cheap..then traded for TLS cuz they look bigger and better
i guess it depends on your budget.
p.s im not trying to be a type-S or anything

Yeah, I'm not trying to perpetrate either, just like the wheels. Just bought a set on eBay for $150/wheel, not bad for used (I hope).

No tires. Didn't want them anyway....springing for the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S...expensive but worth it.

I've been saving for my suspension upgrade project for awhile. Just got my Comptech springs today, in fact. It should all be coming together in the next coupla weeks.
