Type S wheels.

A friend of mine wants to sell me his Type S wheels for $600 with tires. They are powdercoated a gun metal (a bit darker than the stock). Should I jump on this?

$600 isn't bad for Type-S wheels. Are they in good condition?

I wouldn't, I think that stock wheels on 04-06 TLs look better than the type-s ones. And with a NBP I like the contrast of silver wheels and a black car. I personally wouldn't do it but if you like it, go for it.

Personally I like the A-Spec wheels way better than the Type-S wheels... I think the Type-S wheels are hideous, but that's just me :p

Pfff everyone has their own opinion. I like the Type-S wheels and A-Specs better than my '04 stockies.

Lol. Waffle.

Yea they are like new. Just been powdercoated probably 3mos ago. Dude takes good care of his stuff. He is a wheel whore. So now that I know its a good deal I can decide if I wanna spend money on stockies or put it towards some other wheels.

I don't have type-s or every had type-s rims, but ilike them better then base Rims, but i still like base. honestly, i think it would be a nice upgrade, and if the car is droped, they look even better. Aspecs are ok as well.
