The Wheels in my Avatar are RonJon Liquid Graphite Legends, 19"x8" with a +32mm offset. They will fit BBK TL's.

Happy Holidays!
I'd like to revive this thread once again. I just bought an '07 Type-S and want to get 18" wheels so the OEM ones have to go. I'd like to see what other wheels clear the Brembo calipers so please post a pic of your ride if you have changed out the wheels. Would also appreciate if you could post how much you paid for them. I don't want to spend thousands on this. Ideally, I would like to go with 18" A-spec wheels but they are out of my price range. Wish Acura would have equipped the Type-S with the A-Spec wheels to begin with.
The wheel shown below is a Kazera KZ-H and is available thru tirerack.com for $154 each for 18" which is a good price. They are low pressure cast wheels and weigh a respectable 21 lbs each (same weight as some of the $800 BBS wheels). I called tire rack and they confirm they will fit over the Brembos. They said that Kazera is a house brand. I like the machined finish on the wheels. What do you guys think of them? My Type-S is carbon bronze pearl so I think a polished/machined finish would go best.
Any other wheel websites out there that I should check out for good deals besides tirerack and wheelmax?
Thanks,
Al

RC2776 asked earlier
"Would any A-Spec 18" rims work for the Type-S or should I bee looking for something that specifically is compatible with the Brembo brakes ?"
I could not find this info after searching...anyone know?
Thanks, it may be after-the-fact but I just ordered a set of 18X8.5 a-specs for my 06 6mt silver TL from a wheel refurbisher.
Thnx

I don't have a type S with Brembos, but I do have a wrx with STi brembps, and a 240sx with Brembo Gran Turismo calipers. What I found out is that most majority of the advans and volks are made to clear Brembos. I have never had a problem with a set of Volks not clearing my brembos at all and I have gone through many many sets of wheels on my 240sx and wrx. The only wheels that I had problems with clearence is low offest wheels with big lips like a set of work VS-XX 18x9 -5.

Flash, I know you're brand new to AcuraZine-welcome! We have a Black Market section of our site where you can purchase many different items like Type S rims. You can also post that you're "Willing To Buy" wheels as well. In the upper right hand corner of the page, you'll see Off Topic-just click on that and you'll find the Black Market. We would prefer you post what you've posted above in the Black Market area.
Thanks.

There's a guy in my town selling these rims for $1100. What size spacers will I need? Also, do I need to get hubcentric rings? I'm 100% stock right now. Sorry..I'm kind of a noob at this. Thanks for your help.

FYI TL-S are not the only TL models with brembo front brakes. I have an 04 TL (6Spd M/T) which has brembos up front. I didnt want to go crazy on rims for my car but i ended up getting a winter tire package from Town Fair Tire, use some beast MasterCraft Glacier Grips on my stock rims in the winter and have 18x8.5 Allegro Rims wrapped in hankook tires. Looks very clean, much better than stock.
