TPMS works with which set of wheels?

Hello, I just got me a 06 Acura TL and I was looking to get some Work's Varianza. A friend of mine said they won't work with the TPMS unless I drill a hole in the wheels. Can anyone tell me if this is accurate and which wheels would work with it?

I wish I had a couple hours to type, I will help later. Good luck.
I had those exact wheels on order and cancelled.

You can either drill a hole in the back or use bands to mount them. You can't stick them in like the OEM wheels.

Has anyone gone the route of drilling a hole for the TPMS sensor? I always see banding as the solution. Is drilling typically avoided because it can weaken the wheel or just to keep any warranty intact?

Both... No way are you drilling a hole in the backside of $2300 rims... especially when the band system works fine.

From your other thread... You have to use bands becasue 2 piece wheels have a 4 inch L shaped valve stem that starts in the CENTER of the barrel of the wheel. Single piece wheels have the valve stem hole int eh outer FACE of the wheel.

You cannot mount the sensors properly in the center of wheel.
