TPMS from RDX for the TL

Hey everyone, tried to find the answer to my question, but no luck so far. So I bought some lightly used aftermarket wheels from some guy I found in classified ads. I also bought some used TPMS from another guy, which were from an 04-06 RDX (checked beforehand, they are compatible and the garage that installed them said they work).

My original TPMS are on what are now my winter wheels. So the garage told me they'll need to reset the TPMS when I install the summer wheels on the car. I read that TL TPMS are supposed to be self-adjusting, but will the RDX TPMS self-adjust on the TL or will I indeed need a reset each time I switch between my summer and winter wheels?

Might have been from an MDX since I just saw the RDX started at 07 lol

Anyway, are all Acura TPMS from those year self-adjusting?

No Acura had TPMS in 04. The 05-06 MDX and 06-08 TL use the same TPMS so if you're sure they are off of an 05-06 MDX and you have an 06-08 TL they should fit.

The part number should be 06421-S3V-A04 (replaces 06421-S3V-A03) if you can determine what it is.

Yes they will work. If I hadn't needed spacers for the front wheels they would be working on the car right now. And yes they are off an MDX from those years.

My question was to know if they will self-adjust without needing a reset each time I change the wheels between summer (MDX TPMS) and winter (TL TPMS).

If anyone knows, I need an answer for this. I'll be putting the wheels on this weekend.
