I don't know much about the Toyo but I do know that the Falkens are CRAP. They will get very noisy in a short amount of time. Just my opinion. If you have the funds the best tire for the car is the Michelin HX-MXM4

I think the Falkien 912's are too new to get very many responses at this point.

I cant tell anything about the Ziex 912 since I havent use that one but Im currently using Falken FK452's and all I can say is I CANT WAIT TO REPLACE it (with the charger on my car, the tires keep peeling off from a stop whenever i punch it, this didnt happen on my old tires "proxes 4" until i used it for about 15k miles).... .

As a ex-Falken Ziex owner, my recommendation is the new Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season. I switched about a month ago have NEVER looked back

The 912's are rated 360 A A
The Eagles are rated 420 AA A - Longer wear and better traction
Good luck on your decision.

Is your TL a 2004 or 5? There's a TSB, 05-050 about rear tire wear requiring replacement of rear bump stops on the '04's.

Well, i had the Proxy 4 on my TL and they were perfect for daily driving, good wet and dry traction. I've had my experience with Falken and they wear out pretty fast.

I wouldn't recommend the MXM4 at all i just got the Falken's and I like them so far.. its true the old Falken tires might have been noisier and they might have worn out fast but the 912's come with a 65,000 mile warranty plus they upgraded the 912 and removed that steel bar that some people were talking about in the 512's maybe that was the reason behind all that noise.. just my opinion as I said on my post you should also look into the Kumho Ecsta ASX (KU21) their rated at 460-AA-A 94W.. and the Eagle F1's are great tires indeed but I live in Canada and we get enough snow here and i heard they dont handle well in snow as their mainly summer tires.

The Eagle F1 All Seasons only came out a few months ago so no one should have snow experience with them just yet. I'll bet you're getting them confused with the other Eagle F1's as there's several.

The KU 21 doesn't come in a our size. I personaly have the asx's now. They are ok but they are getting noisy and they look like i will only get 25 to 30k out of them. Kuhmo is introducing a new tire called the platnum. It is supposed to come out in the first quarter of 08 and it supposed to be rated for 60k and it is an all season. It also comes in three speed ratings.
