Tow Away
My 06 just got towed by my HOA F*G idiots said i was parked on the side walk, why do that when im the only car in the driveway.
My question is what happens if they dont put the car on a bed & just drag it to where ever. Can any part of the suspension be damaged etc?

Did they give you a warning about parking on the sidewalk? Has it been parked on the sidewalk for longer than a day? Re-read your HOA handbook to see on what terms can they legally tow your car. You technically can park your car on the sidewalk/driveway if you are going to be moving your car within a day ( I think).
Oh and to answer your question...I don't know. Sorry I can't help with that.

In most states- if you are blocking the sidewalk with any part of your car- you are hindering a public walkway- and someone in a wheelchair cannot get past
Thats pretty much the decider there- if it looks like you are unloading groceries, or blocking a public right of way, and if someone calls and complains--color that car towed
In general- tow drivers can slide your car a few feet- or use special dollies and then hook up the front end. They are responsible for damage they cause so they are careful to an extent
