Total NOOB question...
I keep thinking about how this will work but I need someone else's input because I can't figure it out.
I just purchased used 19" rj legends and needed to replace the two passenger side tires.
They are Nexen n7000 235's.
The two driver's side tires are 235 Bridgestone re960's with about 75% tread left.
They are in good shape.
Now it seems to me that the circumference of the wheels are off.
Not by much I know but maybe enough to throw off the alignment and make the car unsafe?
Am I being paranoid? Please help!
Also will I be able to notice a difference in ride quality because of this?
Should I just replace all of the tires?
Too many questions I know... Thanks for any help you can give me.

It sucks that one SIDE is different. Are you sure you just can't put the Nexens either in the front or rear, and do the same with the Bridgestones?
If you HAVE to have different brand tires on the car, I HIGHLY recommend that you put them both up front, or the rear. On different sides of the car is not recommended. But, I'm pretty sure you can just change the tires and put the same brand up front, or rear, unless they RJ's are staggered.

dammit I was afraid of this.
I didn't want to spend another 500$ for the bridgestone's just yet until I had to replace all of the tires at once.
I guess I can ask the shop to move the tires around for me so the new ones are up front.
Thing is I had them mount the two new ones today and the douchebag cut about 7cm of paint off my lip.
They are fixing it for me but I won't have the wheel back until at least monday now.
So I would rather do as little business with them as possible now, but they are the only place in town that does custom large wheels.
shit. what a bummer.

I'm pretty sure that if you only buy two tires that you should have them installed on the rear wheels. This is because you can't control those wheels with the steering wheel like you can the front. Not sure where I read that though so I could be wrong
If you have the money for it, it is best to replace all 4 tires.

if you put 2 different tires in the front you will feel it on the steering wheel...guarantee it...
so try and pair em up on both sides... and yes new tires go in the rear
and if you are in NYC... hit me up I can take you to a place that wont scratch em...

The N7000's and the RE960's are both unidirectional tires. You can't switch them from one side of the car to the other without having them remounted on the wheel. That's why you always rotate unidirectional tires from front to back and back to front. There should be a rotation arrow somewhere on the tire. If you've got them on the car already, check to be sure they're on the correct side.

Instead of playing merry tire go round I will just replace the bridgestone's with new Nexens instead so I have new rubber all the way around. Not what I planned on doing at all because the two Bridgestones are in great shape. I just wonder why the tires from the right side of the other guys car were bald from camber wear and not the left ones. Weird. Oh well. I got the rims for 1K$ so I'm not complaining, they're beautiful.
