TL suspension no good )=
I've worked as a tech for Nissan over three years...All the Maximas and Altimas I've road tested since then seem to have a more responsive and stable suspension.
I was coming home from school around 11pm and there was a Lexus SC whatever 300 or 400 right up my ass for no apparent reason...Then he dipped to next lane and cut me off; what an A-hole i said...how hard can it be to keep up with a 14 year old car? lol...I did not even last two minutes until the understeer kicked in on a 30 degree curve...He was gone, he hugged those curves on the LIE like fish on a hook lol. My standing status and dignity was at "0" haha.
I have A-spec suspension too...Should of spent $300 more to get the Super Streets.
Same thing for my old CL-S until i put in coilovers and RSBs
But the TSX and RSX on a completely different boat...Japanese Engineering?

SC has a lower COG and I'd guess is a good bit lighter. That helps. (TSX/RSX - also light and lower COG).
What tires are you running?

The TL is a FWD car, understeer is natural. As well the S/C is much more nimble due to lower weight and lower ride height. As well your tires can make the difference in cornering and curves, if you have the stock michelin MX4M's or whatever they are, or the dreaded EL42's, there's your problem.

No Offense but man it could've have been you lost your nerve. I have an 04 TL with the A spec package and Progress rear sway bar and I take turns like that going 120+. This damn turbo neon and I always gets into going to work in the morning and one day he pushed me into the turn going way faster than I thought possible. To make a long story short the car held despite the feeling that at any second I would spin out.

well im on stock MXM4s and i have taken turns (to test out the suspension) sharper than that at higher speeds without any understeer. i have the type S suspension which is supposed to be a level below your A-spec. so there is definitely something wrong there, unless you were goin 140MPH lol.

"AA" traction rating means nothing.
The TL naturally understeers. For those of you saying your car doesn't, you haven't found the limits yet. Push it a little harder and you will see what it's like for the front end to plow.
I don't know what to say about the SC. I know I destroyed my friend's IS350 with sport suspension on a course when my car just had a tire upgrade. I don't know how the SC compares to the IS.

I don't mean for you to go out and kill yourself lol.
It's just as you approach the limits, the front end will begin to go off course. It wants to continue going straight. To counter this, letting off the gas will usually balance it out and can sometimes make the rear end get a little loose.

ummm....1) TL suspension is waaaayy better than any maxima or altima suspension stock! 2) The a-spec suspension is pretty damn good for agressie driving and even auto-crossing 3) i have pushed my TL w/ a-spec suspension pretty dammn hard at times and sometimes i was amazed more at its capabilities considering its a FWD car (i have am RSB too) 4) maybe try an RSB?? that should eliminate some understeer but u must be careful when cornering too hard and letting off the gas as ur rear end may kick out a lil causing u to spin out....happy safe driving!!!

You need better tires. The job of the suspension is to keep the tires on the ground and the Acura suspension does a pretty good job of that. I would suggest a little research on Tire Rack and see how your tire compares to others.
