TL-S tire pressure for best MPG
I commonly use the door sticker tire rating for cold tire pressure. Do you guys find that cold pressures different from the door sticker get better MPG?
Thanks!
Thanks!

stay with the sticker rating. your mpg takes a bigger hit when you allow the pressure to drop significantly lower. using a higher pressure will likely see minimal mpg improvement, but you will risk significant loss of traction as well as risk blowing if it expands too much.

The OEM recommended pressures are designed to give the best compromise between handling, ride, tire wear, and mileage.

Red,
Look on the outside of your tire, you should find somewhere on there, usually in small print, your tire max psi (pounds per square inch). DO NOT put the max psi in your tire. You want to put 4-7 lbs less then what your tire max psi is.. EXAMPLE: if my max psi is 44 on my tire I would put somewhere between 37-40 psi in it, this will allow your tire to inflate up to but not over the max psi as your tire heats up while rolling distances. For maximum performance and better fuel economy..
