TL-S Suspension Question

Is it worth upgrading the TL-S stock suspension system w/ coilovers? I don't care too much for a drop since I live in the NYC area, but will I be face a large peformance deficit? Specifically how well the car can go around corners/curves. I am going to upgrade my tires (GY Eagle F1 All-Season) as well as add a rear sway bar. Will that be enough? I plan on keeping the rims stock.

Upgrade to the a-spec suspension for the TL-S. I had my 08 TL-S for three weeks, couldn't stand how the back squats down when on the gas, with the a-spec it fixed it all, car is solid when I'm pushing it and the ride is still decent. Corners much better than stock and I feel much less body roll when cornering. I recommend no to do coilovers unless is the fully integrated coil and strut system coilovers. Ride is harsh on regular coilovers. The a-spec drops about 3/4" in the beginning but will settle at an inch or a bit over in time. Mine dropped more than an inch, but that's just because my stock suspesion only had 2300km's when I changed over to a-spec. All in all I'm happy with the a-spec suspension and waiting for the rear sway bar to come in.

Hope this helps you out a little bit on your decision making.

the aspec suspension, rear sway bar, and better tires will all improve the suspension, performance, handling and cornering. the main reason u want to get aftermarket non-acura coilovers is if you want a drop.

Hi Guys, have and 07 TLS with stock suspension, the rear struts are always making a clunking noise at speeds below 40 when going over bumps. Dealer says it is normal and my car has the updated struts. Did you have this noise before the A-spec upgrade, does the a-spec upgrade struts make any noise?

Thanks

2003 Acura Tl type-s dropped

I have an 2003 acura tl type-s with some cheap drop zone springs, it dropped about 3'' or more. With that said, it is too much of a drop for the stock shocks but it was not much of a problem even thou I had accident before it was dropped, just ran over a curv doing like 80 mph , until now that the shocks have leaked all of their oil making them bounce and not stop in high speeds even hitting the fender so hard that is craking the paint anyways long story short what performance shock do yall recommend that will work the best with the 3'' drop? here is a pic to see what i gotta work with
