anyone know anything about this online tire retailer? Any experiences dealing with them? I priced out the Conti DWS and with shipping they are looking about $20 cheaper. Not that $20 is a lot, but this was the only tire that I priced so far.

Any experiences would be appreciated.

personal experience: call up local tire shops... get mounted and balance prices

why: well because after you pay for mounting and balancing, you dont save anything

Good point, and naturally, very dependent on the shop. When I wanted the Advan S.4's (245/45-17) I went to the fellow I've been dealing with for years and here's the results:
Tire Rack $752
Shipping $47
Mount/Balance $80
Tax on $80=$5
Total $884

Shop price $744
Mount/Balance $60
Tax on $804=$48
Total $852

Saved $32 and no running around with the tires.

Last Saturday I need one Continental 205/60-16 for our 2008 after hitting a piece of concrete that was in the road. Once again the shop price for the new tire, mounted, balance, and tax, was about $10 less than if I ordered it from the Rack and then had the shop mount and balance the tire.

appreciate the input, I have a local mechanic that I have been friends with since high school. I have a set price for mount/balance so it's no more to order on-line vs the shop. I'm trying to find out if anyone has dealt with this on-line tire retailer as all I read about is the 2 biggies (tirerack and discounttires).

Anyone???
