tires, where do I start?

Ok i just bought some rims and they are in the mail. Now I need to decide on some tires. I dont know where to start. I know close to nothing about tires. The wheels I got are 19" Jaz Trinity 35mm offset. Probably the last new set floating around.

Rather than suggestions of tires, I was hoping if someone can direct me to some good reads on tires. Stuff like positive / negatives of different specifications and all that great stuff. =) I am so excited, I feel like a school girl.

Tire Rack has some really good reviews, and they also allow users to post reviews of tires they have bought, completely unedited and unbiased.

Couple of things we'd need to know before we can give you some suggestions - 1. do you need a all-season tire or summer ?. 2. How much is your budget ?. 3. What is the width of your wheels. 4. What is most important to you, dry grip, wet grip, noise, etc

Anytime, Enzyme!

I spent days reading that stuff before I decided. When I finally did, I felt like I knew what I was buying.

1. probably summer tires, gonna be using stocks for the winter

2. as far as budget, hard to tell now, someone I know says he can get a good discount on tires. He also told me not to go spending too much since its an everyday driving car.

3. 8.5

4. Most important probably noise or lack of, then comes dry grip i'd say because it either snows here in minnesota or it doesnt, not a whole lot of rain here, plus I drive like a gramma in the rain anyways. Other things in the important list would be the ride, I dont want to feel every single baby rock or crack I drive over, but still want good responsive tires.
