Tires turning brown
#2
The "browning" may be caused by the tire dressing, never the less cleaners that are specifically made to clean tires are available.
I have been using Eagle One's "Tire Cleaner" for many years. I cannot vouch for any other brands but I love Eagle One's T.C., it takes the "brown" right off.

I simply use the same stuff I use to clean the car.. just soap and water with a brush.
Then dress it with Meguiars Endurance.. this stuff lasts a very long time and keeps the tires black.

I heard that the tires turn brown due to exposure from the sun.
I used to have this one black baseball cap that turned brown after I left it sitting in my rear dash after a few weeks in the sun.
Well, that's just my guess.
