Ok,

Someone please tell me the deal on the Tire issue. I have Bridgestone EL-42s on my TL. How do I know if these are the "old" version or "new" version? I just picked up my TL a few weeks ago. Reading the previous threads on this issue has me concerned.

Also, am I in a position where I can demand new tires of a different make, such as Michelin? What justification do I need besides hearing about the problems with the EL-42s in forums such as this one? Any info would be appreciated.
