Tires Spec Questions For An Aggressive Wheel Set-Up?
Currently I am running the following wheel/tire spec WITHOUT rubbing issues:
19x8.5 22mm front w/215/35/19 tires
19x10.5 36mm rear w/245/35/19 tires
My rear fenders are rolled and I am currently lowered 2.25 inches with no finger gaps. So my question is:
1) I am interested in going with 225/35/19 tires up front because I want a bit more sidewall protection. Would I rub going with 225/35/19 tires?
2) Would either 255/35/19 or 265/30/19 tires fit without rubbing at the back with my current offset? I would prefer the 265/30/19 tires but I am afraid it will rub at the back.
Please chime in and especially for all the Hella Flush guys here. I am sure you guys can help me out here!!

what brand tires are your tires? I'm wondering because some tires run small, true, and large.
my fronts were 215/35/19 8.5 +24 w/ rolled fenders. the part that rubbed was the tab where bumper met fender + fender lining. had the tab dremeled and the lining cut and no more rubbing except on hard turns. I'd stick to the 215s, just keep your psi at 42.
my rear was 9.5 +30 and your 10.5 +36 is similar to a 9.5 +24
I had rolled rear fenders too, but my camber was around -2.7 and no rubbing. another thing is I had 235s on the 9.5 which is a very minor stretch. I think with your 245 on the 10.5 you're getting just enough stretch to clear. What are your camber specs?
so to answer your questions.. 1. More chance of hitting that tab with the 225s on the 8.5 2. The 255s will be a similar stretch to my 9.5 235 and that will rub without enough camber and its 6mm more aggresive so I think you should stay with the 245s
hope this helps

Not sure what my camber specs are but the reason I want to go with 265/30/19's is because there is still a good clearance due to the stretched tire. But 265 won't be that stretched anymore and will fill out that gap. That is why I am wondering how much gap it will fill? But you are right...I think I should stick with my current tire size to be on the safe side. Don't wan't to buy new tires and end up effing them up.
I am running Falken FK452's up front. What tires are you running and how low are you? My tires are tucked just under the fenders with a little space to clear. So that is why I am wondering if I can fit 225's in there. I know ballinfizzle89 was running 235/35/19's with his Works Wheels 19x9.5 32offset and he was ok. Therefore his wheel sticks out 3-4mm more than mine so that is why I am thinking should fit. I am surprise you rub with 215/35/19's tires. Thanks for the info buddy!!

i got a real good question about the set-up ur running.
y a staggered set-up?
is it only style? or is it for performance?
try reverse staggering using bigger and vvider fronts and smaller rims in back finding a tire equating o.d. of the fronts... might be a better idea.
in any case, staggering isn't really for front drive vehicles. my 2cents...
