Tires sizes?
Hey everyone, I am gonna buy some rims soon, and was wondeirng, with stock height, can you fit a 245/40/20 tire on the car? I wanna get as much rubber between me and road as possible, if need be i may have to roll my fenders a bit, but i would rather not.

where do you find a calculator like that or something, that will tell you size of tires with different width and sidewall measurments? or is just something you learn? and i guess ill go with 235/35/20 like i was originally planning. Thanks

Here you go

This size is still over 4%, which is too much. You should try to stay within 3% range. Consider 255/30/20

i'd go with 235/30/20, that only has a diffrence of 1 percent at most, this will affect your speedo, but when spedo reads 600, you will be going 59.4 mile an hour. Anything over 3% can affects your brakes badly, especialy with the TL rotors warping easily. If you want ride comfort and bigger rims, i'd think that a tein suspension would give a more stock like ride.
