Which Tires to Get

Ok Guys its about time for me to get a nice set of summer tires for my ride. As some know I live in Arizona so All-Seasons are out the door. I want a quiet ride, highest traction possible, decent tread wear, and bang for the buck tire. I have narrowed it down to pretty much three tires; Nitto NT555 235/45/17, Nitto 225/45/17 NT450, Bridgestone Potenza RE730 225/45/17. Which ones would you pick? What ones if not any of those would you go with?

I am leaning towards these two:

The Nitto NT555's are $609 Out the door with a pro-rated warranty.

The Bridgestone RE730 are $641 OTD with full replacement warranty.

For me personnaly, I would take Bridgestones over Nitto anyday...I trust Mr. Ishibashi's reputation and history as a tire manufacturer over Nitto's Ricer marketing.

But then again, I never had any experience with Nitto's. The only tire I may buy from them are the Drag Radial's. For all other's, I don't think I would bother.

Just my $0.02.

50-50? :wow:

Dang! Those are the two I am leaning towards too. I guess either way I can't loose.

Think I am going to stay away from all season tires since I live in Arizona. I really do not need my TL to handle good in snow.

kk939-How much are the Toyo's? Who sells them?

I think tireack.com sells them but I bought mine from this company
(1 800 998 949) this is where I found the cheapest. You can do a search on the internet and find out more companies that sell it.

I would go for the Bridgestones. I have used Bridgestones in the past and have never had a problem(never tried Nittos though).
