Tires dilemma
aight guys i gotta get new tires for my 18s and i dont know which ones to get....
i was looking at high (or ultra) high performance tires...
the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 is a VERY good tire... but im a bit concerned about the 240 threadwear rating...
my other choice was the same tire i've been rolling on for the last 2 years... Bridgestone RE950 (high-performance A/S)
it's a very good A/S tire.. but im just like everybody else.. i always want better...
but if i get the goodyears that means ill have to pay more (about 200$ more)... that means less money for something else.. (i wanted to get darker tint)
and im asking myself... do i really need better tires.. i mean.. im not the type of guy who always drive aggressivly and fast and all.. but im not the guy you'll find doin 50 in a 50 zone either.. and sometimes i like to push the car harder (than i should )
and maybe if i got better tires id be more tempted to go faster... and i dont want that to happen...
well like u can see, im a bit confused... help me

Goodyear F1 GS-D3 wear rating is 280. Heard lots of positives regarding these tires, given the fact that they are almost identical to the Toyo Proxes T1-S. Well if you can't be 'em may as well join 'em.
Bottom line is don't short change yourself when it comes to tires. Regardless if you drive hard or not, that's the only thing that keeps you planted on the road.
