Anyone having problems with "cupping" on a '04 TL with a/T? I have Yoko Avids with 14K miles and the noise from the tires has become unbearable. Thanks.

first off, no, my tires have always worn well with proper rotation every 5-10k miles or so.

what suspension are you riding on? when is the last time you had an alignment or had your suspension professionally looked at? and how often do you rotate the tires? what tire pressure are you running?

If you are talking about cupping on rear tires: Yes! (04TL, 6MT).

I had severe cupping on my rear tires. Have your alignment checked and if you haven't had the rear bump stop TSB performed, get it done. Yeah, you're out of warranty, but be firm with your dealer, show them your cupped tires and insist they perform the TSB under goodwill.

Also, be sure you are rotating your tires with every oil change.
