Tires ??

My TL is around 3 months old now and i am sick of the of the crappy El's, so I am now shopping for tires. What is the best performing all season tire? Also, I live in the east so it must be good in the snow. Suggestions ???

I just got Michelin Pilot Sport A/S tires to replace my EL42s. WORLD of difference in ride quality, and no more flatspotting. No personal experience in snow with them yet, but I've read many positive reviews about their ability in poor road conditions.

You should also take a look at the Pirelli PZero Nero M&S. There are reviews on Tirerack.com

Check out tires forum, you will see tons of threads talking about tires. If you talk about All-Seasons tires, Michelin Pilot Sport A/S, Pirelli PZero Nero, and Falken ZE512, etc. are targets for most of ppl. Lots of ppl here chose Michelins'.

Michelins' are most expensive, and Falken has low $.

Bust over to the Tires, Wheels and Suspension page and review some of the comments relative to other tires (i.e. Falkens, Michelins, etc...).

Stocks

Your stock tires have a AA rateing for traction which is the best.....even some perfomance tires only rate A.....so as far as traction goes your stocks are about as good as its going to get with the execption of a soft compound tire but something like that would only last you about 3000-5000 miles....so if your looking for ride quality by all means shop around but if your just trying to get the tires to bite better on launch....your stocks are fine
