Tire wear issue

Hello everyone,
I have some unusual tire wear on the front tires. I have attached the photos. The front tires are missing pieces and cracking.

When was the last time you did an alignment?

The alignment was done when the tires were installed back in December. I took the car back to the shop in February because I saw minor wear. They checked the alignment and told me it was within specs. Fast forward to today it is obvious the front tires are worn out. The back tires are looking good as new as you can see in the photo.

did they provide you with the print out at the time of alignment? This looks like the tire is worn by toe angle.

I took it to the shop and got the tires rotated for the first time since their install. The guy said it looks normal just keep up with the rotations. I was not given the alignment sheet.

well then, How do you know it was aligned to spec?
without the alignment sheet, who knows if you are aligned to spec or not.

curious about the date of manufacture of tire.
it's stamped on tire.

Are you ripping around corners?

Is someone else driving the car and ripping around corners?

When you have all season tyres and you rip around corners....that's the pattern of wear you see. Seems like the outboard edge of the tyre is rolling under as the car is ripped around corners.

So let me get this straight, you hire someone fixing your car. They don't provide any kinda of receipt and you took their word for it?

I am going to keep an eye on the newly rotated tires and I will go back to Goodyear shop if I see missing chucks of tire tread and have them check the alignment and print me the alignment spec sheet. Tire stamp is 0718

How old are you shocks?? I had an issue with my tires cupping. Cupping is caused by worn out shocks. I was coming up on new tires anyway and just waited to do the shocks and replace the tires at the same time.
Car rides soooo much better.

Looks like alignment or inflation issues. Shocks would cause a different kind of wear.

Looks like you have "scalloped" tires and the shocks are probably worn. You should also check your front compliance bushings and make sure they are not torn, but those tend to cause toe wear
