Yup...they'll fit just fine. Have you considered 225/50-17 as an alternative? Sucks that Toyo doesn't make the T1-S in this size.

235/45
these tires are too wide..they really pull and tug at the
steering wheel.

they follow every groove and rut in the road.

the car doesn't roll as freely as it did on stock rubber.
and the ride is just way too hard..
don't know if its the tires, or the rims are too wide.

tirerack said they don't have a problem with the fitment specs,
so it must be these damn tires!.

so...i was thinking taller and narrower...right?.

now, going from 235/45 to 225/50 might be good.
but i am afraid that this size would also be too freakin hard.

tough decision.

plus, i have read really bad reviews of this tire.

and Bridgestone says there is second generation that fixed some of this stuff, but i don't know what gen these are.

they're just horrible tires..

225/45-17 are approximately .4" shorter than stock. This will also magnify the harsh ride you're experiencing. A narrow tire will definitely reduce the amount of tramling (sp?).

215-50-17 on an 8" rim?..

that will work for me?.

because these tires are freakin hard.
i put my oem w/65k on them, back on the car.
and i breathed a sigh of relief!..

i really like these rims.
but 215-50, won't the 215 be too narrow?.
would 215 on an 8" rim be dangeraous in any way?.

Lawaia, thanks for the reply.
and these are 235-45...the car rattles like a wreck with
these things.
tramling?..sounds good to me!.

these are some mean tramling tires!...
they'll pull the car into the next lane, if not paying attention.
must really hold onto the steering wheel.
it's exhausting!..

ah hah!...

so maybe the tires aren't that bad.
i think the problem, for me, is that these ultra high performance.

215/50 are spec'd to fit on wheel widths up to 8.5". I'm running the exact same size mounted on cl-s wheels. The T1-S are better handling, quieter and perform much better than the stock Michelins. Absolutely no tramling with this setup.
Since you switched back to your OEM setup did the tramling stop?

235/45 = 105.75 mm side wall...this is what i have.

215/50 = 102.5 mm side wall, i think this is too short.
i want a softer ride...shorter than what i have now!.

i don't care about z rating..i'll never go over ...geez...90 miles an hour!..

215/55 = 118.25, this might be good..

215/60 = 129.0, this might too much..
but these tire sizes seem hard to find.

225/55 = 123.5, this might be good also..

i just hate the hard ride these give, not mention the tramling,
but these tire sizes seem hard to find.

any input is greatly appreciated.
