Tire replacement question...

If you've replaced the OEM tires on your TL (I have a 06 with Turanzas), when did you replace them? what mileage and what tires did you get? I live in a heavy snow area, so good winter tires are a must.

thanks in advance.

Then I'd seriously consider snow tires for the winter and some decent performance tires for the summer. If it really is that snowy where then that's probably your best bet. Any so called all season or M+S tire that's going to grip really well in the snow and ice will probably disappoint you greatly in the summer

Considering that you will get more "calendar time" out of each set of tires since they spend time off the car it isn't really that bad in the long run once you get over the lump sum of the cost of the snow tires.

I've always liked Blizzaks for icy snow like we get in Northern/Central CT. Others love Nokains, Dunlops, etc. Once you have used real snow tires in bad conditions you'll never go back.
