Tire pressure question

Tire pressure question

I have 19"x7.5 ... w/ 225/35/19 nitto 555's. How much pressure should i be using? I have bent 2 rims , currently i'm at 36 ... but when i spoke to the guy i got the wheels from, he said that sounded low... ?

Sam, I always used 36psi.......
It doesn't matter how much air you use, if you hit the right bump, see ya..
If you go any higher the ride will be horrible, I've tried it all. It's our $h)tty FL roads.

thanks charles.... i went on vacation a few weeks ago and got a flat on the way to miami, then two days later i bent a rim on I95. It just seems too easy, I thought maybe there was something else i could do. BTW, he said these rims are forged... which makes them stronger.
