Tire pressure
It seems that whenever the temperature drops more than about 10 degrees in a day, that my HUD tells me that I need to add air to my tires (usually the front ones).
Anyone else ever see this?

yeah, and it pisses me off. you fill the tires to oem specs at a given temp, and during the day they jump +/- 6 psi.
does anyone know at what temp you are supposed to fill the tires to obtain perfect psi?

The owner's manual shows the recommended cold tires pressures. The warming up phenomenom is taken into account when the pressures are listed.
If you read the part in the owner's manual about tires pressures, you will see that the recommended pressures for high speed driving are higher than for normal driving, and it is a known fact that the higher speed will make the tire hotter and therefore increase the pressure even more.
