Tire fitment question

Tire fitment question
Looking to get new tires. Can I run a 245/40/19 tire on a 19x8 wheel? I currently have 235/35/19 tires, but I would like something with a little more meat. Your opinion and suggestions are appreciated. Thank you much.

Check out www.tirerack.com. Once you know what kind of tire you want, you can get the recommended wheel width. Tires themselves vary as to what the recommended wheel width is.
Good luck, they should look HAWT if you can do it

Here is a tire size calculator/comparator. About 3% difference in rotations per mile is OK.
It'll also show "standard" wheel width's for a given size.
Check the sidewall height - I've read than under 4" increases the chances of wheel damage from potholes, etc.
