Time for tires - 08 Type S

I've got under 12k miles on my OE MXM4 tires, and I'm tired of them. They are total garbage. I drove on them last winter and it was actually dangerous they are so bad. Today, driving in the rain, they hydroplane while going 60mph on the highway , and engage the VSA while breaking on wet pavement. Any type of wet traction is horrible.

What do you guys recommend? I need something that has good snow and wet traction. I don't have the money to buy a second set of wheels + snow tires, so I'm stuck with all seasons. I'm looking at the Pilot Sport A/S Plus, they seem good, but are fairly expensive.

What all season tire are you guys running in areas that do get snow?

Bridgestone's Turanza Serenity and Potenza RE960 Pole Position are my #1 and #2 recommendations for the TL. Like I said in another thread, the Continental Extreme Contact is my recommendation to those on a tighter budget due to recent customer reviews and un-biased tire test results. I would expect given the recent surge in demand for the Conti DWS that it's price will sky-rocket and no longer be the value that it currently is though...
