Time for new tires. Need input!

So my Continental Extreme Contact DW's are running low on life and im looking into getting something different. Does anybody have any suggestions on some reasonably priced summer performance tires? I dont need P zeros or anything, just some good quality mid/highend ones. I was looking into the Nitto NT05's and bridgstone potenza RE760 sports. Any advice would be appreciated!

Did you not like the DW's? How many miles did you get from them? Bridgestones will be A LOT heavier in the same size.

great price for what these tires deliver in handling and feel. don't expect them to last forever though.

I love my DW's. I also had some Nitto Invo's that were great sticky tires.

I agree-not necessary to change off of the Conti's.

i agree that the nitto invo tires are very nice. They hold power like a mofo and not bad on performance either.

I was doing research all day yesterday and I think I'm set on Vredestein Ultrac Sessantas. Check this link out and read the article. Pretty convincing plus the tread looks sick!!!!

The tire vredestein has above average ratings and tested well with other known good brand tires. But 280 tread wear, noway. You will be changing tires in 2 years.
I'm a fan of Bridgestone Potenza, Yokohama avids
Nittos I had good experience.

Kumhos- worst tire ever and I have them mounted on a set of wheels sitting in the garage. Never would I recommend kumho.

For the money, I'd say it's worth it to give the Hankook V12 a try. It's pretty much the cheapest max performance summer tire available right now due to discounts/rebates and it out performs everything in it's price range.

I just put them on, keep in mind though that I'm coming from the stock Michelin MXM4 All Season Touring.

Treadwear rating is 280 but at this price, why not give them a try. About $425 after rebate shipping included on tire rack.
