For those of you with 20s

Who have their car lowered, have had a problem with rubbing in the rears when having their car loaded with 4+ people? If so what is your set-up?

I have 35mm offset with 20x10 with 255-30-20's in the rear and in the front 20x8.5 with 245-30-20's. If you're rubbing and have the Aspec kit, you have to modify the rear part where the mud guards go on the rear part of the A-spec kit.

Before I modded the A-Spec kit I rubbed all over. After not at all. I have some big 225lbs + friends and I haven't rubbed since the mod. I'm only lowered with the A-Spec drop of what .5-.75 inch.

Also the rear sway bar will help out alot with rear body roll and rubbing

Lembowski,

Glad you got your rubbing problem resolved!

How much did you have to cut off from the kit to prevent the rubbing? I just bought my A-Spec kit, but haven't installed it yet. I will probably modify my kit before mounting to make things easier (I hope).

On an unrelated issue, I just bought a Basslink too! Haven't installed that yet either... lol

I'm glad also I took out all the plastic down to the second support like others have done. I'm waiting for some free time to take the kit off and put some new molding tape on it. After taking the top support off the top of the A-Spec kit doesn't want to stay flush to the body. I would definately do it before you put the kit on so it is easier to make clean cuts.

On your side note, the Basslink is awesome. I'm soo glad I went that route because it sounds perfect
