Thinking about H&R Coilovers.
I have been in the boat for along time about getting a new suspension setup. Well now is the time!
I am thinking about running the H&R Coilover setup, however, with this setup I can only the change the ride height. I have been reading and the damper is not adjustable?!. So in this case, how is the ride compared to stock Type S suspension ( comment H&R coilover owners).
My wants are to keep the stiffness of the stock Type S suspension but lower this 4x4 that I have!!
Oh and also, please list your other experience, how is riding on those shitty ass construction roads? Also, how does it absorb harsh road conditions?
Thanks for the comments.

H&R has one of the best warranties, and is one the most reputable, quality susp manufacturers. There is a few threads on this kit, one of them is my review. Coilover springs are a bit stiffer since the susp travel is limited, so it will be a stiffer ride. Stiffer springs tend to have a bounce to them as far as ride characteristic too. I'm very pleased with this kit, the ride is just what I expected, still comfortable for a DD. I really didn't need damper adjustment either, I would have set it at a midrange setting and left it. Keeps the mod simple too, no messing with nob extenders, no cutting up/drilling the strut tower bar or getting an aftermarket bar, no electrical wiring.

H&R makes a great product and you will certainly be happy with it. For the price though it's a little much. You can get the TEIN SS which have ride height and damping adjustment for less. Don't get me wrong. You won't be disappointed with H&R; it's just you're going to pay more for less options.
If you want to get either one though let me know. We can get you a quote.

I have the H&R streets.. I've driven in an rsx type s, the stock tl suspension of course, and these coilovers on the tl. the h&r's are a little stiff, but they handle 10x better than stock and even my rsx. plus they give me what I want. easy installation, great handling, and a decent ride comfort. most of the time i have music on so I really don't notice the harshness but when the music is off.. I notice many imperfections on roads. unbearable? no. just what i expected and im 100% satisfied with my purchase. if you're interested in these, i bought them from mike at hello@acuratlparts.com

i have the H&R coils for more than half a year already...i used to aspec and then aspec shocks/comptech springs...
i dunno how it feels from a stock type S but those coils are quite stiff to be honest...they r much stiffer than the aspec/comptech spring combo....
but what you get in return is flat corning....much less roll......(i also have comptech sway installed)
