Tein SA vs BC Racing Br Series
I've done a couple searches but came up with no info that i could use,
I'm on the search for coilovers, now I'm not looking to slam the crap outta my TL but rather drop it a bit but still sustain a decent ride, I have read awesome reviews about the Tein SA's but have also been looking at the BC Racing ones,
now do ppl say the BC's are harsher becuz of the fact that they don't use the OEM Top Hat? just asking becuz both the Tein and BC use the same rate of spring, both pretty much the same dampening settings,

the tophat really has nothing to do with the ride comfort, I went with BC Racing coilovers and I could not be happier with them, with the tein sa the lower you go the harsher the ride is going to be. personally I would suggest you go with the bc's they're the best bang for the buck.
also, I went with 12/8 spring rates and the extreme low option

I'd go with the BC Racing BR coilovers, much better IMO, you retain the full stroke of the damper regardless of how low you set them.
On the Tein SA the lower you go you get less dampener travel. They're also twin-tube, mono-tube like in the BCs is a superior design to the twin-tube Teins.
I had the Tein SS on my car and just went over to BC Racing BR with the swift springs, couldn't be happier the ride is way better.
