I am thinking about ordering these springs. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TEIN-...46080506QQrdZ1They are the Tein S Tech. My question is how good are these springs without changing the shocks? Should I change the shocks at the same time? I drive my TL hard so I dont want to blow out the shocks in a couple thousand miles... Any help guys?

Are these decent prices? I ordered my AEM CAI from these guys with no problems.

 

I would not recommend getting just springs...my friend had the S tech's on his civic and he didn't have money for shocks at the time...badd decision because his shocks blew after a year or less.

 

I would pass on them if you can afford coilovers. My shocks blew in the rear after about a year or so it appeared. Now when I pulled the springs out the shocks seemed to be ok but I wasn't liking how my car was handling. Plus you'll be happier if you just go with the coilovers from the start and avoid changing out the suspension again shortly down the road.

BTW that company on ebay is awesome. I bought a DC sports JDM 4-1 Header in stainless steel from them for an absolutely amazing price. I couldn't believe it because I think I paid like $300 for it and everyone else wanted close to $600 for the same exact header just because DC sports stopped production of the Stainless Steel version. I have also bought a lot of stuff from him with no problems whats-so-ever.
