Anyone Used These Ball Joints?
More Information for MEVOTECH TXK80228
Terrain Tough ball joints from Mevotech, they're supposedly for driving in 'tough' places like the terrain in the pothole filled NYC/NJ area. After hitting several of them this season enduring all the damage like blown out tires and a ball joint that was recently replaced after the accident damage of a few months ago, this might be a logical choice. Paul, our star master mechanic here in Northern NJ will be installing them this coming week.

I got the Sankei 555 and they are higher quality than all the others I got. I have had mine in for about a year. Its somewhat of a heavy duty ball joint.even the bolt/nut is slightly larger.
2 other brands I tried pressing into the arm, the little silver clip on the ball joint kept hitting the arm and kept bending and it was not put together well. But the SAnkei's were much better. No issue at all.
And I think the mevotech's were too tall. And my axle scraped it. So I had to knock it back out and trash it. The ball joint has to be very flat to clear.
The Sankei even comes with an additional clip that you can install on the bottom of the ball joint to ensure it does not come out. And ironically they are the most affordable.

They will come in a box that look something like THIS but this is not for your car.
