Suspension upgrade
Alright guys i have lowering springs and my shocks are bad I decided to go with kyb shocks for my 2005 tl . What else do I need to order to firm up the suspension to get a smooth ride . I was reading something about some type s bushing , or absorber but I'm not sure any help would be greatly appreciated please . Or any other recommendation since I'm changing the shocks I just want to do the work once and have smooth ride.

I'm selling my type s top hats if you're interested. Thy cost about 220 from our vendors I think and mine have pretty low mileage at a good price
Let me know if you're interested.

firm/stiff suspension does not give you smooth drive, they offer you bouncy ride but during corning it stick to the road like glue. Soft suspension forgive road surface imperfection but alot body roll during cornering. KYB G2R (I am assuming you have this) is a softer shock compare to Tokico Blue.

The KYB GR2 (in my opinion) for the 3G TL is not superior to the OEM shocks. Especially if you have lowering springs, I'd stay away from OEM and the KYB. If you're going to upgrade them, do it right with Tokicos or, even better, the Koni Yellow which is an absolutely fantastic suspension modification for these cars. I think you are fine using the stock top hats unless they're worn. I matched my Konis with the H&R springs and a rear sway bar and it completely transformed the way the car handled.
You're never really going to eliminate body roll completely with these cars. Definitely not with shocks and springs (I think coils work better) but, like the guy above said, the stiffer you make the car and decrease body roll, the more bumpy and uncomfortable the car is going to be during everyday commuting. For some that's NBD, for others, it's a problem.
