Suspension noise
I've had this noise that I can't seem to figure out that's coming from the front passage side. Either while coasting or under light load, there is a clunking sound from the front right. It's not a metal clunk but more of a basketball dribbling in the wheel well. I know my compliance bushings are torn but I don't think this would cause the noise. I've heard people suggest motor mounts but again I can't imagine it would be a dribbling noise. It is more frequent with the a/c on, but never really occurs under a heavy engine load.
What is most likely?

I should add that this is most common going over washboard style bumps in the road and railroad crossings. Manhole covers and potholes are rough in general but don't necessarily cause the dribbling noise.

My guess would be sway bar end links, in the front. If they have excessive play, they'll make a bit of a dribbling sound. They're fairly easy to replace (if severely rusted, you might have to use a grinder to cut them off) and aren't too expensive.

I had a rear shock that was blown and it made a similar noise under light pressure/loads and rarely under heavy. The noise I heard in the cabin was different than what it sounded like outside of the car (or what I thought would be a shock) so it took me a while to figure it out. Hope this helps.
