Suspension Help?

OK, so I am stummped... I want to lower the car but I hear diff. suggestions from people and I want some advice from my fellow 3g TL owners... So here goes!

I am not looking for some outragious dampering I simply want to keep the ride as close to factory as possible, smooth, with great handling, no bouncy bouncy, and im not sure what way to go.. I want to almost tuck the rear wheels.. So im at factory height now and I need a few inches im guessing to get there.. What way is the best to go.. I cant find springs that will go down enough so I would need to cut a coil or two out, then im going to have major shock issues.. So I was thinking that I would go with Tein Basic coilovers and that way I can adjust the height and I can move it up or down without to much shock issue.. Im so aware of how the "ss" are so sweet, but im not sure if I need all that jazz.. Hmm? HELP....

So im not really on to much of a budget, at this point I am looking at spending around $350 to put springs and roll the fenders, about $1000 to do Tein Basics and roll the fenders, and $1500 to do Tein SS and roll the fenders.. Someone please help me.. Will everything be ok with my ride quality if I just go basic?

Tein Basics will do you just fine.

However, I recommend H&R Street Performance coils, which I'm running on. They're better quality, IMHO. (The factory settings on the H&R's is a 2.5" drop, if you don't mess with the threads, fyi)

Hope this helps!

I have the tein basics on mine. And I love them. They ride great, are not stiff at all. And yes they are fully adjustable you can adjust the height to your liking. I'd go for them.

I've actually read that the Tein basics can be a little harsh. If you really are concerned, the SS offer you the luxury of softening up the dampers since they are adjustable.
