Question Suggestions on tire size: 225/45 or 225/50's?

Well everyone, i really appreciate everybodys feedback on which rims to get and due to the fact that my money will go alot further with TL-S rims than aftermartket, i decided to get the TL-S(brand new) for only $500. Anyhow, what size is recommended? 225/45, 225/50 or 235? Please let me know, thanks!

I have been debating this for a while. Some say that the 235/45 and 225/45 are to wide for the stock 6.5" TLS rim, but people have done it without complaints. Manufacturer recommends at least 7" for 225/45s and I think 7 1/2" wide for 235/45s. I personally like the 225/45s but also like to follow what the manufacturer recommends. There may not be many brands to choose from in 225/50. I guess this is not a common tire size. The Maxima SE somes with this size stock, but many have upgraded to 235/45s. My stock Michelins still have a way to go, so in the mean time I'll still be debating on which size to get

Thumbs up Hey Rock!

I will be getting 225/50's just to be on the safe side. Michelins makes that size for around $202 a piece. I believe the model is Michelin Pilot Sport A/S(don't quote me on it). A little pricey, but they have excellent ratings, plus it is a all-season tire.

Hopes this helps!

Just looked up the Michelin at Tirerack. Not bad looking. Not too sure if I wanna spend 200 dollars per tire. Hopefully there will be more choices when I'm ready to buy. those 225/45s are still tempting. Good luck!
