stripped lug nut

any input anybody on how to remove a stripped "spline" lug nut that needs a key to take off?

I overtightened it and the lug completely stripped inside. I sprayed some wd-40, took an oversized socket and tried hammering it in.... it didn't budge. Cutting it out would be my last resort, anybody have any other ideas?

Most tire shops have a rig to remove them .. just be careful they might damage the wheel a bit.

yea the threads inside are completely stripped. Bought these lugs on ebay, forgot what brand it was but it began w/ a "K" and japan made. Anyways, got the stripped lug out w/ out any damage to the wheel. Just went to sears and picked a really thick allen key and it just came out. So all is good
