For some reason I think my 08 S is lower than some pictures I see here. It has a little over 2 finger gaps in the rear from the top of the tire to the fender perpendicularly. It's unlikely that the previous owner changed the suspension cuz he couldn't even make the payment.

How big of the gap is it on yours?

I guess it depends on how fat your fingers are!
On our '04, two fingers are tight when placing them on top of the tire under the 1/4 panel.
