Stock Ride Height (from ground measurement requested)

I looked for a while and found lots of things on what lowering would do, but nothing that indicated how high off the ground the top of the wheel well is from the ground on a stock TL-S, 2007.

I measured and have a difference between wheels of up to an inch. I need to double check on flatter ground (read as in the garage).

Anyone have the ride height, as measured from the top of the wheel well to the ground? Type S, 2007 preferred.

I'm trying to see if the shocks are bad - it's a rougher ride than my 2003 Type-S.

that's because the 2003 Type-s was more of a cruiser.
the 2007 type-s is 100x sportier. (obviously exaggeration)

the spring rate and damping rate of the shocks both have increased tremendously.
because Racecar

How many miles does your 2007 have?

Many find the the 3G TL has far from a luxury car ride, but most is do to the aftermarket replacement tires. The OE Michelin's that aren't available anymore were great for absorbing bumps, but for all practical purposes not good for anything else. This is why a great many have gone to the DWS, not much in the way of performance and far from a wide tread tire, but seems to be good at giving a reasonably comfortable ride.
Just an FYI, our '04 with 245/45-17's, about the same height as the OE Michelin's, is about 26.5" at each corner when measured ground to bottom of fender through center of wheel.

Chances are shocks aren't bad as if they were the care would be bouncing over the bumps.
