Lightbulb Stock height for Base AT 3G TL ?

A'Zine,

I was wondering what the stock height is for a Base AT 3G TL? As I purchased my vehicle used a couple years back it is an '08 WDP Base, when I purchased it, it had 43k miles, it now has 73k miles.

I wanted to add an A-Spec suspension kit, to lower it a tad. However, I measured the floor to "apex" of the fenders today and measured ~26 1/4" - 26 3/8" all around. Granted I am currently on the stock 17's wrapped with 245/45/17 Yokohama 520's that will need to be replaced soon. So I am wondering if the car may already be lowered/have the A-Spec suspension. The suspension appears OEM as they are black struts/springs. No coil overs, etc...

Lastly, the vehicle did come with the A-Spec lip kit already installed from previous owner. I purchased it through a dealer, so I never had a chance to speak to the previous owner... Thoughts/input?

That seems like somewhat low measurements. I measured my stock 08 Type S 5at 29,000 miles prior to H&R Sport spring install and my measurements were 26 1/2 drivers side, and 26 3/4 passenger side with original michelins and half tank if gas on level garage floor. I know it's not the exact same car, but just some numbers for you to compare.

Thanks for those numbers... I am also measuring in my garage and probably about 1/4 tank of gas.

Also, just an idea and I dont even know if this is true, but its possible that with age and mileage coil springs start to sag just a bit, or as the rubber bushings and seats compress ever so slightly more over the life of the vehicle ride heights could drop just a little.

the only true way of knowing; is to look at the part numbers on the shocks.

taking measurements is not very scientific; as there are millions of variables to consider.

You are correct, the only "true way" to know is to check the part # on the strut. However, while perhaps not "very scientific" measuring fender heights to apex on similar cars could be useful, granted there are a few variables, tire/wheel combo, wear and tear on strut/spring, and perhaps even some bushing wear, we are speaking about the same vehicle in general.
