stiffer without changing ride height much or factory springs.

Are there any shocks that can give a firmer ride without changing the factory springs? I suppose KONI's will do something like that but can you lower with factory springs? If so, how much? I think I heard that Koni's will do stock height. I'm trying to find some pics of stock springs on koni's. I would lower some, or a little bit but I can't find any I like that has not been slammed or ones that provide the right stature at about the mid-level. Its crazy. Thinking about just leaving my springs. Even with the A-spec the amount lower than mine is very minimal if any. I think it just depends on the car and the batch of the springs =)

would also like to see a pic of the skunk2 without koni's or at least on normal heigth. I like the stature or angle of that one guy that recently posted of his blue TL, but thats too low. Good angle but too low. (for my taste)

Koni Sport shocks have 2 perches on the rear and three on the front (or maybe it's the other way around...can't remember) that will lower ride height ~ 3/4"...so yes, you could retain the OEM springs, firm up with adjustable shocks and drop almost an inch.

Thanks for the advice. So, are you going to put the A-spec springs on with the Koni's this summer?

If you only want stiffer, just get some Type-S or A-Spec springs.

see this is why i'm so confused about what to expect. I see your car and it looks about like what I would like. But still kinda hard to tell because of the angle of your pictures. Nevertheless, then i see this TIRE shot, and theres a HUGE gap on the front and its supposed to be an a-spec too.

what is the difference between aspec and tls?

Its possible the second one was dropped. Or it could be the quality/angle of the photo.

The TL-S suspension is about 30% stiffer than the TL suspension IIRC

The A-Spec is about 10% stiffer than the TL-S suspension and drops your ride height by about 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch.

Also if you were looking of pictures of my car it is with the stock TL-S suspension. If youre looking to go stiffer without going lower its really the only way. PM me if you want to buy some TL-S springs.
