Stern St1 question

I was looking to get the Stern St1, for my Type-s and was wondering if i get the +38 offset would it clear the brembos? I was also lookin at the privat netz, and does that clear the brembos, i found these for 1300 wit tires, sounds like a deal.

They both fit, the sterns clear w/the +38 offset, do a search and you should be able to find some pics of them on a white TL w/brembos....And the Netz work in 30mm offset

Are you looking at 18 or 19" wheels? The 38MM offset Sterns should fit over the Brembos (I have them on) without spacers and I think the Brembo set-up on the Type S is the same as the MT on the '04 to 06's. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong. That is a great price for 19s (sounds too good to be true) but probably about right for 18s. A lot of the price depends on the tire brand of course--make sure you are getting a quality tire.

2Hollywood - I have a 07 TL-S and recently installed the 19" Stern ST-1's. They do clear as long as you get the 38MM offset. The stern's look great on the TL-S and I'm happy that I went that way.

Good Luck

I picked mine up by taking an ad from Directwheelsandtires.com - that listed them at 259 each - to Discount Tires because they said they honored all advertised prices. Discount Tires had them listed at ~ 320 but honored the printout I took them. With tires, mounting, balancing, etc.. it ran around 2.1K

19" Stern ST-1 HyperSilver. I'll take some pictures this week and try to figure out how to put them on this site.

Looks great Clttr. Welcome to the Stern club. Those wheels match your silver paint big time....all flows together real nice. What kind of rubber did you slap on them? Love that first shot with your double-barrel exhaust showing. Also like the fact that these wheels show off our Brembos. Have fun with your car...she is a beauty.

Thanks Javaman I think that I went with the same rubber you have on yours. The Nitto NT-555 Extreme. You can tell they stick to the road better then the stock one's and now with the 19" size, I can corner on a dime
