Squeaking and burning smell coming from passenger side wheel

So I just recently bought an '07 TL. When I took it onto the highway for the first time, I noticed this squeaking coming from the wheel. After getting out of my car, there was a strong burning smell coming from the wheel as well. The squeaking is not constant. There's a cadence to it like every time it hits a certain point on the wheel. Now this only happens after going on the highway. I do mostly city driving and for the past two weeks, I haven't heard or smelled anything. From other reading other posts, seems like it may be a seized caliper. Just thought I'd start my own thread to get some feedback and to see what repair costs would be like.

Thanks

Almost certainly a seized caliper. I had the passenger caliper stuck on both my TL and 02 RL. New calipers fixed the issue.

Get your brakes checked out. The caliper is certainly what it is.

Probably the caliper, but must make certain it's not the brake line that has a collapsed inside wall, or a problem with the sliders.

You could wait a little before posting again, so I won't comment on the other identical thread.

I have had this happen. I have changed both rear calipers several times, only fixes the problem for a short time, I would get a caliper and the hose just to be sure and flush your brake fluid.
